This was a major challenge and.step up in my abilities to cope with the demands for today.. Vanessa's presentation on Google forms is certainly something that I can see a need to use in my teaching but I will need a lot of practice to get familiar with it. Thanks to Gerhard for showing the capabilities of My Maps, but at my level I can't see me using that in the immediate future. The presentation on spreadsheets was probably the most applicable application that I experienced today and with Dorothy’s help I managed to master some elementary functions with this process. I took a student's blog which was supplied and took some Elementary data from that and embedded into into a new sheet and also got familiar with having various tabs along the bottom to distinguish the various groups. I developed the ability to select various graphs and display them, which you can see embedded on my site and some elementary analysis of them. In summary for today, I found this pretty challenging. I'm doing this using Google Docs and voice typing so that I guess there's some progression evident.Wednesday, 27 May 2020

ReplyDeleteWell done on the voice typing. Like I said focus on one thing and then make it sustainable in your practice if it will help your workflow. Google forms are a great time saver and I am sure Kerry would be happy to support you to utilise in your daily work.
